Architecture can provide for generations.

The education I have gained personally along with my architecture education has made me passionate for rethinking material waste to influence society.

Background

Building Permit

Expediting at The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs in Washington DC ( DCRA) as a work- study, assisted me in understanding the reality within design and how the code regulates life safety.

Preserving Historic District’s helps one remember how far into the future our society is.

The DCRA are intelligent individuals that are associated with writing code. Working with code creators are a way to make change.

Earthship

Earthships are defined by six basic design principles, all of which take advantage of the existing natural phenomena of the earth.

“If a cruise ship and a space-ship have everything one needs to survive, then we need an Earthship to survive” - Mike Reynolds

BUILDING WITH NATURAL AND REPURPOSED MATERIALS

THERMAL/SOLAR HEATING AND COOLING

SOLAR AND WIND ELECTRICITY

WATER HARVESTING

CONTAINED SEWAGE TREATMENT

FOOD PRODUCTION

Carpentry

Attending “Monmouth County Carpentry Vocational School” cultivated my interest in building and fabrication. This was my introduction to communicating in 2d and 3d, drawing plans & team work.

These hands on skills transitioned to community college where my abilities spoke for me in an elective construction class. The professor introduced me to Architecture as a career path.
